Anti-freezing admixture Antifrost (AF)

CONTAINER-ANTIFROST

Description

One special admixture for the concreting and the operation with the mortar mixes within the negative air temperatures. This admixture is used during winter time operation, by the temperatures below 0°C

Advantages

  • enable the open air building activities during the winter time
  • concrete and mortar mix hardener
  • free of the chloride-ions
  • enable the winter concreting without the cement content increasing
  • the delivery of the anti-freeze admixture with the plasticizing effect also possible
  • laboratory-checked, customer-defined plasticization degree

Packaging

  • PE-Containers: 1000 Litre
  • Plastic and metal barrels with a capacity of: 200 Litre
  • PE-package: 1; 5; 10; 25 Litre

Specification

  • Chemical composition: aqueous solution of the sodium formate and sodium thiosulfate with admixtures;
  • Form: colourless or, in case of existence of the plasticizing effect, brown-coloured fluid body; 20% ±2;
  • Density: 1,12 kg/l ±0,02;

Application

To carry the admixture with the water in, being meant for the concrete or mortar mixing. The using of the concrete admixture do not except the compliance of the technologies of concreting or operation with the mortar mixes under the low temperatures.
The consumption of the ready-to-use (liquid) admixture in % from the cement weight:

  • Temperature range:     0°C ÷   -5°C –      Consumption: 1   –  2,5%
  • Temperature range:    -5°C ÷ -10°C –       Consumption: 2,5 – 3,8%
  • Temperature range:  -10°C ÷ -20°C –       Consumption: 3,8 – 5,0%
